LOG ON to Drive of Your Life
(20 minutes)

Objective:
Students will successfully log onto Drive of Your Life (www.driveofyourlife.org), enter and save their personal information, and establish a user name and password to return to their saved information.

Resources:
Internet access for each student.

Approach:

1. Have students log onto the Web site; the URL is www.driveofyourlife.org
2. Each student will answer a series of questions identifying his/her school (and before or after school program, if used outside of school), identifying themselves, and establishing a user name and password.
3. Remind the students to write down their user name and password and to keep them confidential. They will need this information to access the site for future assignments.

1. The concept of a user name and password should be familiar to most students. Discuss other Web sites or computer uses where students set up personal user names and passwords.
