Step 1: Customize Your Ride

Overview
You will complete a 48-question personal style inventory. Your answers will help determine your skills and interests, which, in turn, will determine what careers you might like. As you answer the questions, you will have the chance to customize the car you will ride in during Step 3.

Completing the personal style inventory and making vehicle selections should take about 20 minutes.

Each question has four possible answers:

• No way!
• Not exactly
• All right
• I can go for that!

Pick the answer that most honestly reflects your interest in the activity or situation described in the question. Remember, there are no right or wrong answers, and the selections you make here will identify the personal style that will suggest careers for you.

Notes:

• Answering the questions honestly is important to generating the correct personal style.
• If you run out of time and need to leave the program, you can save your changes and return to complete the inventory later. To save, click “Exit” in the upper right-hand corner. When you log back in, the program will remember the last item you customized on your car and start the personal style inventory at that point.
